At home in Asheville—is there any place you would rather be? In this issue we wanted to highlight some amazing personal spaces that reflect the creativity and beauty of our mountains.

What is your favorite room in a house? So many things go into making a home, and each room offers unique respite. In our home the back porch is both a sanctuary and gathering place. Many celebrations have taken place here and many quiet moments have been shared.

Home is a refuge and a place for your children to always return. It is the one place where you can wear pajama bottoms all day, scream at the tv, and eat with your elbows on the table.

Fall is when we all start gathering around to watch scary movies and football, to have bonfires and ghost stories. Take a minute to appreciate your home and the many memories that it holds.
