Wizards of Mixology Battle for the House Cup

This Harry Potter-themed event will pit four local bars and distilleries against each other to see who has the best house-made punch. It is hosted by The Antidote on Thursday, Nov. 14, and presented by The Urban Gastronome. It features cosplay, a DJ mash-up of the soundtrack from all the films and themed food.  

The 74th Annual Asheville Holiday Parade Presented by Bojangles

Held on Saturday, Nov. 23, this year’s theme is “Peace on Earth,” and the parade will feature approximately 100 entries, including businesses, nonprofits and, of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus. The 2019 grand marshal is Ms. Wheelchair USA Madeline Delp.

Center for Craft Grand Reopening

On Saturday, Nov. 16, The Center for Craft will host its public reopening after an extensive remodel. The entire Asheville community is welcome to come and connect while viewing such installations as UNC Asheville’s inaugural exhibition in the John Cram partner gallery, Craft Futures 2099 and even more activities.
